Register To Ride

I understand that participating in the Heels & Wheels motorcycle ride and related activities involves inherent and potentially serious risks.

These risks include, but are not limited to, motorcycle accidents, collisions with other vehicles or objects, road and weather conditions, mechanical failure, actions of other riders or motorists, traffic, construction, debris, injury, illness, property damage, permanent disability and death.

I voluntarily choose to participate in Heels & Wheels with full knowledge that motorcycle riding and participation in this event may involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with my participation in the Heels & Wheels ride and event, including risks that may arise from the acts or omissions of other participants or third parties.

I understand that this is a public-road motorcycle ride and that normal traffic laws and road conditions apply at all times.

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY

I certify that I am legally permitted to operate the motorcycle I will ride during the event and that I am responsible for ensuring my motorcycle is properly registered, insured, maintained and safe to operate.

I agree to obey all applicable traffic laws, ride responsibly, maintain a safe distance from other motorcycles and vehicles, and follow reasonable event and safety instructions.

I understand that participation in Heels & Wheels does not give me any special right-of-way or exemption from traffic laws.

RELEASE AND WAIVER

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and agree to hold harmless Rowdy Ones MC, Heels & Wheels, event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, participating businesses, property owners, event locations and their respective officers, members, representatives, employees and agents from claims arising from my voluntary participation in the ride or event, except to the extent such a release is prohibited by applicable law.

This release includes claims involving personal injury, property damage, disability or death arising from the ordinary risks associated with participation in the event.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

I understand that I am responsible for my motorcycle and personal belongings. Event organizers are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to motorcycles, riding gear or other personal property.

MEDICAL TREATMENT

If I become injured or require medical attention during the event and I am unable to communicate my wishes, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency medical services on my behalf.

I understand that I am responsible for medical expenses incurred as a result of my participation.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

I understand that photographs and video may be taken during Heels & Wheels.

I grant Rowdy Ones MC and Heels & Wheels permission to use photographs or video in which I appear for event promotion, social media, websites and future Heels & Wheels promotional materials without compensation.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Rider Waiver, Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk.

I understand its contents and understand that by signing it I may be giving up certain legal rights.

I am signing voluntarily and have had the opportunity to ask questions before participating.
